This Cold Lake family session was intended to take place only a few weeks after baby Cohen’s birth, but with Covid-19 hitting just as we were scheduled for our in-home session, we decided to postpone until it was safe to shoot outdoors and from a distance.
This mama is a close friend of mine, and she made it so easy planning this session together; everything from finding the perfect location, to moving around bedtimes to allow us to shoot later in the evening, to choosing the perfect outfits for her beautiful family.
We spent much of our time together searching for frogs and exploring the grounds at the beautiful bed and breakfast we shot at, which made two-year-old Addison so happy.
The inspiration from this session came from simply observing and documenting how this family loves one another; so many smiles and laughs and such a special bond between them. It was truly a gift getting to document their love!
