I am a mother of two who treasures the in-between moments. The middle of the night snuggles on your chest, the feeling of your toddler's hand in yours, the messy face kisses… these are the things I want to help you remember about this season of life. The moments that tug on your heartstrings. The fleeting moments that make up motherhood.
Because you blink and suddenly they’re grown, and all you have left to remember these days of snuggles in your lap and bedtime kisses are photos and memories. That’s why I do what I do: so that you can look back on these fleeting days for a lifetime.

My passion for photography began when my husband and I started planning our growing family. I knew that I wanted to capture beautiful, timeless images of my children and our life together, that would help tell our story long after our children were grown. Fast forward to today, and we are the proud parents of two sweet, adventurous girls. I feel so blessed to have documented their lives so far in such great detail; the big things as well as the little things, that will one day be everything.
Aside from being a wife, mother and photographer, I am also an educator, having taught early elementary school for six years before following my heart towards photography. I truly believe that the most important job you'll ever do is the one inside your own home, and I love getting to spend my days with my favourite little humans, even when the days are hard (and oh my, they can be).
I'm a nostalgic at heart, always yearning for moments past. I love to reminisce about our days spent together, often asking my husband and daughters, "what was your favourite thing about today?" I believe in being authentically me, and you'll often see me tear up behind my camera lens as you snuggle your newborn baby or lean into your husband for a quick kiss amidst the chaos. I live for the perfect playlist and I'm happiest when the sun is shining. Exploring the world, camera in hand, is always on my bucket-list, but I'm the most myself while snuggled up on my couch with a hot cup of coffee. Most importantly, I find immense joy in documenting life's sweetest moments, and love meeting each and every family who I have the privilege of photographing.

Motherhood. It's messy and it's beautiful. It's boo boo kisses and bedtime stories and snuggles that make your heart burst. It's late night worries and second guesses and a never-ending sense of "am I doing this right?" It's long days and years that fly. It's precious and fleeting. It's the hardest and most rewarding job you'll ever do, and it deserves to be documented.

being a mother is the greatest honour of my life, and it's this bond that i long to capture, again and again.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I was made to be a mother. From playing "mommy" to my youngest sister, to teaching early elementary school, to finally becoming a mother myself, I knew that my calling in life was to spend my time with and shape the young children in my care. Being a mother has given me a stronger purpose, and has taught me a love that I never knew existed. Motherhood is the greatest honour of my life, and it's this beautiful bond that I long to capture, again and again.

Watching you simply be with your family is my biggest inspiration for capturing your love. The gentle way you tuck your daughter's hair behind her ear, how your husband rests his hand on the small of your back, the sweet way your first born snuggles into their new baby. The comfortable things you do without ever realizing them- that's where the true magic lies. And so I love to have you "love each other as though I'm not here" and simply document the magic that follows.

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is, quite simply, magical
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is, quite simply, magical. My favourite thing about photographing young children is how authentically they interact with the world around them. Whether it's running their hands through the soft grass, laughing as they're thrown high into the air, or whispering silly secrets into daddy's ear, everything they do is so pure. Letting your children play and explore naturally is one of my favourite ways to capture those genuine, magical moments.
