Everything about this session was so dreamy – from the beautiful family in the most perfect fall wardrobe, to the sweet baby girl (and her cheeky smiles that she made me seriously work for!), to the gorgeous, nature-filled location. My time with these three was so fun and relaxed, despite it being just a little bit chilly for poor Isla, and I loved getting to watch this mom and dad love on their precious baby girl.
Isla is at my all-time favourite baby phase – that 6-9 month period where babies are content to sit and pick grass, be snuggled up close to mom or dad, or watch with wonder the world around them. I absolutely love capturing babies at this age, just as their little personalities start to shine through. Like how this little one was so unsure of me at first, and just watched me with a calm curiosity, to finally cracking some cheeky smiles that let me know that I’d slowly but surely won her over. Documenting how sweetly she loves on her mama and then gives those big belly laughs to daddy, was the sweetest part of it all.
