There’s something a little extra special about including grandma in motherhood sessions; after all, so much of what we know as moms we first learned from our own mothers.

So when Ayla asked to include her mom in her motherhood session, I was so excited! We spent the morning running around grandma’s yard, picking flowers, kissing boo boos and finally strolling down to the bridge, just at the end of the road, where Ayla’s husband proposed all those years ago.

Ellie loved smiling for the camera and chatting away, telling me all about the bridge and her days spent at grandma’s house, while making sure to include just how special her daddy is. Tucker wasn’t quite so excited to smile for the camera, playing shy with me at first but I think I won him over in the end! What a sweet, fun little guy, he is!
