I don’t think I’ll ever tire of photographing mamas and their little ones. There’s something about the mother-child bond that ignites my passion and keeps me reaching for my camera again and again. Perhaps it’s because that now, as a mother myself, I realize just how easy it is to think that they’ll be this little forever; always crawling sweetly into our laps, always wanting just one more story, always needing us in this all-consuming way.

I look back at photos of my own daughter and it hits me that those days have now gone by in the blink of an eye. Without photos to help us remember, all we’re left with is fuzzy memories that’ll one day fade as our babies continue to grow.

Getting to spend time with Kristina and her little sweetheart, Everett, was so much fun! He is truly the sweetest, happiest little babe and was so curious about the beautiful pink flowers all around him. I loved watching them interact; Kristina singing silly songs and tickling her sweetie, while Everett melted my heart with his gorgeous blue eyes!

Kristina, you have such a beautiful boy! Thanks for letting me capture your love 🙂
