One of the greatest parts of my job as an Edmonton newborn photographer is meeting new families and getting to watch them grow. I met Sarah and Bryson on a sunny evening this past Spring as we captured their last session as a family of three (mom, dad and puppy Oreo, of course!) Their maternity session was the first of four we’ll capture together, followed by sweet Brie’s newborn session.

I have had so much fun getting to know this sweet family. One of my favourite things about photographing you again and again is getting to know my families and gaining new friends at the end of it all. Sarah and Bryson are the most kind people, and their calm, laid-back personalities were so easy to capture. Their happiness and excitement just shines through in these images, and I can’t wait to watch darling Brie grow over the next year!

Capturing your biggest milestones will forever be the greatest honour. As a mama myself and an Edmonton newborn photographer, I know first-hand that babies don’t keep. I hope that these memories will forever be cherished by this sweet family, and I have no doubt that Brie will one day look through them in awe at how special this time was in her parent’s lives.
